Daniel H. Oberlies

Daniel H. Oberlies earned his undergraduate degree at Villanova University, his Masters of Business Administration from Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester and his Associates Degree in Risk Management. Dan began his career with Lewis Tree Service in 1984 while still in college. In 1991, Dan became the Assistant Operations and Training Director, and was promoted to Director of Safety, Training and Regulatory Compliance in 1996. In 1997, Dan took a position with Consolidated Resource Recovery, Inc. as Director of Safety and Human Resources in Florida. In 2000, he became a Safety Supervisor for the Corporate Safety Department for another tree service company before returning to Lewis Tree in 2002 as Vice President of Risk Management. In November 2007, Dan became the Senior Vice President of Administration with responsibility for Human Resources, Fleet & Purchasing and Risk Management departments.

Dan has served on the ASC Z133 – Safety Requirements for Tree Care Operations committee for eighteen years. He is a current member and past Chair of the Utility Line Clearance Coalition.
